Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal
I'm glad its helped. Congrats on the purchase. We are going into year three as F-32 owners and can't wait for summer. We added A/C this past year and really were able to enjoy the inside of the boat more. I Also added a 30 gallon black water tank and a new macerator electric toilet. Best thing I did...

1976 F-32 Shaft Strut Bolt Pattern
I'm looking for the bolt pattern of the shaft strut as my boat is 2 hours away in storage now. I didn't like the look of the plywood block when i was down there this summer. I want to make new backer blocks and change them out. Has anyone ever done this? If so how difficult was it to remove the old ...

Chrysler Exhaust Elbows
Looking for a picture of the business end of the Chrysler 318/360 exhaust elbows. I want to take a look at mine when I replace the exhaust hoses. Just need a picture of what they look like on the water outlet side to be sure mine aren't clogged up. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Re: Wallpaper F32 1975
That's the same stuff I have in my 1976 Trojan F-32. I have seen pictures of people that have painted the wallpaper and it looks pretty good. I am thinking of doing my head and seeing how it looks. Not sure what paint to use but an enamel would be the best if it doesn't affect the paper.

Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal
Working on the A/C install. I'm happy to say that the 16,000 BTU Webasto Platinum Series unit is cooling the whole boat superbly. I also did some bilge clean up and painting. Aligned the port engine and shaft as it was rubbing the shaft log tube. Cleaned up the wiring in the engine bay and added my ...

Waste Tank Size F-32 V-Berth Location
I'm not able to get at my boat atm but I want to add a black water holding tank in the V-Berth. Has anyone done that? If so do you remember what size tank you used and where and how you installed it? I want to add a new electric toilet and also use a holding tank instead of the all in one toilet I h...

Re: Prop strut backing plates
Use white oak and it will last as long as the old white oak your replacing. There is a big diffence between red and ahite oak as far as rot is concerned. White oak is superior to red oak.

Re: Trojan F32 buyers advice
I din't answer any of your questions lol. Parts for the engines are all available her in the USA. And not anymore expensive than other marine engines. Again the engine oil and transmission fluid leaks are very concerning. You can rebuild the transmissions but it depends where the engine oil is comin...

Re: Trojan F32 buyers advice
Hi First Class, I have a 1976 Trojan F-32 and I have been a boater for a god part of my life. I'm 55 years old. My boat has the Chrysler 360s in it also. I would not hesitate buying another Trojan. That one looks like the hull is good and solid. Double check the stringers for any rot/soft spots as w...
