Re: Fiberglass Thru Hall Repair
The 12 to 1, I believe refers to the hole Diameter. I also believe 12 to 1 is way overkill for a small hole like this. I would taper the hull a bit and grind some around the edges ( not as deep as your drawings ) fill and glass over. I have done this more than once without issues. Thanks and comple...

Re: prop spin
Damper plate fixed the prop spin on my Port 318 with velvet drives. You can always start with an tranny oil change. Collect the old oil in a clear jar and inspect it after removal, (and settling..) If the oil change helps it could indicate a worn clutch plate.

Re: F31 Flybridge Troubleshooting Gauges
That’s the way WAYWEGO. Exactly what I was thinking, but my guess is RPM is going to have to match since it comes off the coil..... ?
And yes senders beat the heck out of gauge prices!

Re: F31 Flybridge Troubleshooting Gauges
Yes, Thanks for the (idiot) link! ! I swear I read that 3 times and wasn't until I typed out my post and was like wait a minute... Dis-similar gauges... From what I understand it seems like Faria uses a more universal sender than the Delcos? My guess is now that the PO replaced the helm gauges and s...

F31 Flybridge Troubleshooting Gauges
'73 F31 Fly Bridge. Helm gauges work fine. Any trouble shooting tips for Fly gauges? The RPM gauges register at idle, but do not increase properly on power... Ground issues? Connections are not new... I plan to crack open and closed all connections and see what happens from there. Battery and Oil p...

LM 318 Raw Water Cooling System with Sherwood D65
After much time trying to find the easy answer for 'proper' factory plumbing routing on my ' 73 F31 with dual Chrysler LM 318s, RWC , Velvet drive 1:1 trannys, its time to just 'figure it out' and ask for a second set of eyes, agreement or disagreement. Background: Boat new to me last year, still wo...

Re: Chrysler 360 impeller replacement
Here is a link for the common H20 Pump in a LM 318... Original Chrysler PN 2847631 I think... They should have info on a 360 pump. (If you cant see the PN on the pump, I've found the second link and their website handy to find PNs.) https://www.pumpvendor.com/Sherwood_D65_D-65_parts.html https://www...
