Big D wrote:So considering everything is already there for the shower to be pumped overboard; electrical, plumbing, through hull, it would be relatively easy to install an auto sump box for the shower and direct the condensate to it......good to know.
A big plus would be to add an overflow into the bilge. That way if the sump failed, it would simply drain into the bilge.

There is a similar high water overflow fitting in the shower sump on the 10 Meter International.

I know what you're talking about. Most sumps that I've seen have an optional knock-out you can remove. This allows for overflow if the unit fails and for an additional bilge pump that would act as a high water pump as it would only come on when the water is high enough to go over the cover and in through the knock-out.

Sorry guys, dual post. Is it just me or are there problems with the site. It seems I keep getting an error when the page is refreshed and the site can't be found??!!
