wowzer52 is pretty much on the money , you can find parts but it takes time and it costs you the few I have seen always had something going on with them , if you like to tinker could be a good choice

Take a look at mine. Very nice setup. 8 bolts on each side. On the inside its one large plate with the bolts and lock washers. Very strong and looks good.rbcool wrote:I'm going crazy not having radar. I'm used to fishing until 12/31 and going out in even the thickest fog. I also don't mind cruising in the dark. But neither of these I am willing to do without radar.
My dilemma is : Should I totally change the look of the boat and put up a radar arch? Not to mention putting a lot of holes in the sides of the bridge deck. Any alternatives? Thoughts?? Would you do it?
In the photo-bucket below.

This seems to be the most popular arch, it's from Atlantic Towers

Thanks for the input guys. Do either of you have the kind where the wires come down through the pipe then through the connection to the boat or do you have to make seperate holes for the wires to enter the boat?

The wires from my radar/gps/radio run directly through the arch and into the boat without any other external holes. I believe that the Atlantic Towers arch requires an external hole for the wires to enter the boat. The ones I've seen look great, it is a very nice piece
Aaron's Tri-Cabin looks great with the arch, I think that might be an Atlantic Towers arch

Unknown on the arch here. No markings on it. Sure looks like one. At the base the wires exit the pipe and enter through sparete holes.
It looks very nice still and is extremely solid. If you went this route you wouldn't be sorry.
