I have three 1100 gph pumps, one in the bow, one between the engines and one in the stern, all automatic, two with manual switches. I test them regularly. I have experienced a sunken boat and do not want to do it again and if you have not experienced it I hope you never do. But, It is amazing how much water rain can put in a boat in a short amount of time. Paul, I agree when you open the hatch and see lots of water and steam the pucker meter pegs.
