New faces on head cabinets (photo included)

Post by Struts and Rudders »

Hello all,

I have just posted a photo of the cabinetry from the head on our F36.

I would rate this job a 0 on the 1-10 degree of difficulty scale....my neighbor did it for me! Thanks Richard.

Doors will be teak..countertop will black granite with SST sink, mirrored faces on the upper piece.

I still have to paint the inside of the cabinets.

No damage here!

They are held in place with screws. The vinyl edging is stapled to the edges you see here so just unscrew the obvious fasteners and tug a little.

My boat is 1980 F36, I cannot speak for your model but would logically assume the similarities are great amongst the line.

It have quite a bit of material left from the 4x8 sheet so I have my eyes open for another project for Richard, which by the way was a great neighbor long before he wanted to volunteer to help on this project.

what material is it made of?
travel for work has kept me away from the boat for a while, and I have a remodel going on at home, sadly, the weather is great and the boat has played second fiddle for a while
