I have pulled my dink fast behind my skiff but only slow behind my F26. I don't like to cruise with it on the transom as it reflects so much engine exhaust noise into the cockpit.

Fishblues,

I like your livewell. Great use of space- does not take up deck space at all.

Drive from a PBR ? can you be a little More specific ?

Are you talking about the army river patrol boats ? If so they are heaver built . "the drives" are water jets and the engines are Detroit diesel 6V53 Huge engines and very heavy . shoe horn fit on a F36 and wont clear the ferro with the air Boxes on . ( there is 1 on the site ) not sure about fitting a F32 Maybe even tighter . The jet drive would require major hull rework . not a good choice IMO

PBR

Post by drbbqking »

what you say has some truth the mk 2 PBR =6.8 tons and our Trojan f32 =6 tons the extra lbs comes from its diesels and jet drives. but for speed and turning WOW and and 28" draft but the cost of a refit just wondering if anyone has looked in to it
