Onan 6.5 KW removal possible?

i was considering doing the same thing with my genset on the exact same boat, and after a little bit of measuring and a lot of thought decided not to do it... it barely fits through the door and weighs a half a ton.... ridiculous

my attempt to remove it was for the purpose of rebuilding it... didn't happen and we tried breaking it into two pieces as suggested above.... didn't work, there's an enormous amount of parts that will need to be replaced if that were to happen... and its expensive if you take the wrong thing off...
