Interesting. Mine don't leak at all, and have not been re-seated.
Not sure if there was a design change or what.

Re: 73 f32 windshield replacement
hello all.. i bought a f32 well traded ..one windshield was busted aleady. i pinched a hole in it and after a drop cloth install i cut ou the glas careful not to hit fiberglass or aluminum frame. i then removed screws and used a flat steel crowbar.. started to apply pressure at one corner and slowly work your way up. dont apply to much because you WILL bend it. apply slow but alot .it will slowly release. its held in with a soft sealant . trust me it took a bit but all is out without bending. went to commercial glass co. 150.00. gavem a pattern back in business.
