Temperature Sender for 318

Post by The Dog House »

I tried replacing the temperature sender on my 318 today with a Faria 1/4" NPT temperature sender, but the Faria sender was too long. The thread diameter was correct, but the sender that I took out was about half the length of the Faria sender. Do 318s require special temperature senders? I need a temperature sender that will fit in the 318 that uses American standard resistance values. Thanks for any help you can provide.

length should not be a issue as long as you have room for the sender
