Re: Wind Turbine placement on 1975 Trojan F30
He ain’t the only one.
When I used to consume a lot of rum, I too thought about putting a wind turbine on an F30! Those turbines are not that expensive.
Now sans rum, solar panels are the way to go!!!!!

Re: 1977 Trojan F30 Express Water System
Ahoy, I have a 78 F30. Your water set up is identical to mine and I also have an aluminum tank. That upright contraption looks like a winterizing device jerry rig. I would remove it. The pump may nearing its end of useful life. Once the switch on galley is pulled, pump comes on pulsates and then shu...

Oh yeah the water makes a huge difference.
Whenever I go on a trip, I drain my water tank.

Re: 1976 F-44 an Off Shore Boat?
I would not be afraid to take an F44 out on the ocean weather permitting of course. In fact, I would love it! Keep us posted!!! Make sure your hired captain has insurance. I recently watched a youtube video where this young couple in Florida bought a sailboat to cruise the world - ah, young love. Th...

Re: Thanks for everything!
I also listed it on Craigslist on the Holland, Michigan page. They are identical. Since the Craigslist ads are free, I would suggest listing it in Chicago as well and that will pick up IL and WI. Like when I do a search from Chicago, it does not pick up boats in Holland but does pick up WI. Good luck

Re: Shift Cables
I know what you are talking about them stiff shifters on the bridge. Try oil as it will seep down. This seems to work for me for most of the season. Someone told me to put oil in the disconnects which I have not done. If yours are like mine. Notice that the shifter cables are too long and are coiled...

Re: '73 F36 Convertible - What to do?
Am I correct in my assumption that an F36 with the second stateroom (bunk beds) are rare models?
I have not seen many of them. All of the 36s I see have single stateroom.

Re: F26 - Interior Restoration
I got the blue bottom.
Have always been jealous of the black bottoms.
I think that is the way to go. After a month, the blue gets growth and looks dirty! With black, it looks and remains black.
Have you all seen the boats with the copper colored bottoms? Oh boy, they look so NICE.
