The usual problem with the windlass is the rope not free falling due to old rope. If it's slipping, check to make sure you are using the rope supplied by Good (different colors to denote scope). If it is not Good rope, or, if it is very old, I would get 150' from them.

If your old gas was 5 yrs old (mtbe) and you drained half- then refilled with premium (ethanol), you should be prepared for some fuel problems. Even with Racors, the sludge created will push through the filters and stop your engines.
