Re: 1987 F32 TEMP GAGE
140 is normal for an open cooling system and 180 is typical of a closed system. Do you have a closed system and if so could it be that you have the wrong thermostat in one engine?

Re: No Fuel Drawing From Tanks
Try cleaning the one way check valve. It looks like a brass coupling located close to the tank outlet. Also check the vents are clear of spider webs or other foreign matter. I would bet that this is the problem as we've seen it happen to several members on this site over the years. Clearing the che...

Re: 1971 F26 Front Window
I replaced my 2 front windows many years ago with 1/8" tinted Plexiglass, this thickness takes the curve of the window frames easily. I did not have the retainers to hold the windows into the frames so I bedded them with GE UltraGlaze SSG (I don't remember the number off hand but I can find if ...

Re: Help me please
Martino,
Is there a chance that you have debris moving around in the bottom of the fuel tank that can intermittently obstruct the end of the pick up tube?

Ok, glad that you found the problem. Now for the root cause; What was it clogged with? Does the tank need to be flushed?

Re: missing mystery part
I have these on my boat and they are made of teak. They are held in place with screws and are sealed to the deck with Life-Seal. Without these the water that runs down the gunnels would end up in the cockpit. If you don't like the teak, a piece of starboard would probably do the job nicely.

Re: 1977 F30 318 cuts off under load
Might want to check the anti-syphon valve at the suction tube on top of the tank. Since it's before the filter, debris tends to get caught up in it and can reduce fuel flow. I experienced this exact problem and the symptoms were that I could run all day under 1800 rpm however as soon as I got on pla...

The material that I used is from "QL Marine Accessories" which is a division of Volvo Penta. These sound absorbent panels are available in several different thicknesses.
Hope this helps
