13 Meter Express Generator Exhaust
Hello, I continue to work on the engines and I've removed the generator to make more space. While disconnecting everything for the generator removal the exhaust line exits through the hull next to the starboard engine, see picture below. My question: is this factor installed? The thru hall fitting d...

Re: 13 Meter Project
I was thinking about finding a trailer that could handle the weight. I've towed some heavy things as well with my 1500. My driveway has a killer hill but the real challenge would be how to get it off the trailer. I'd have to rent something and the cost just keep going up. I'm thinking about just tar...

Re: 13 Meter Project
I´m looking for some suggestions for the following: I looking at having the engines pulled out next week, but I don´t have any transport lined up. I´m an hour away and need to find an inexpensive transport solution. I have a 1500 truck, so I was thinking about renting a trailer but not sure where to...

Re: 13 Meter Project
Yes, there is a small water-filled baffle next to the generator. Engines are seized, I can't manually turn them over. I was thinking of removing the injectors to pour a penetration spray in the cylinders and let them sit a day. Either way I'm pulling the heads so it probably make more sense to just ...

13 Meter Project
Hello, I'm starting work on my 1985, 13M Express. It's been a long road and I'm confident she's mine now. I'll go into more detail down the road on the process of acquiring her. A short history; in November of 2020 she went under and was raised within 24 to 36 hours. The reason for her going under w...

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
Rip the floor up and voila, there was the freshwater pump. My title saga still continues, now in the 8th month.

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
Here's the pic of the laminate floor that covers the hatch. No possible way to service anything in that hatch without ripping up the entire flooring, which I plan to do.

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
You're right about the side stateroom and the AC pump location but the two lines I'm talking about are in the bottom berth hatch near the stern. That's where the two water lines are capped. Is this where you were talking about, plus I'm not familiar with a heat pump. Are you referring to the AC/ hea...

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
Awesome, thanks for the pics. Someone put down an engineered laminate floor and did a terrible job. That hatch is completely covered and I'll need to rip up the floor, which I planned to do anyway.
Thanks again for the information.

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
I found two water lines capped off in a compartment under the bunk in the. 2nd stateroom but no wirers present, my search continues. In 2005 I was looking at a 13 meter express at a marina in Kent Narrows, MD. It too had a factory hard top, cockpit AC and get this, a TNT swim platform. Loved it, the...

13 Meter Fresh water Pump location
Hello, I post this question to anyone who knows the location of the freshwater pump in a 13 Meter Express. This is the pump for the sinks, head, shower, not the AC pump. Thought it would be in the bilge compartment in the galley but it's not (maybe it's missing). Nor is it in the main cabin compartm...

Re: U-boat 13 Meter
An Express. I'm digging deeper and will post an update. If I move forward and make a deal I'll post pics. I love 10, 11 & 13-meter Internationals and I'm very partial to the express models. My favorite being the 13m. I've owned the 10m and loved it. The problem with finding one out of state (I'm...

Re: U-boat 13 Meter
Thanks for the info, I was hoping/thinking that was going to be said. On another topic, this 1985 doesn't have the walk through transom. What year did that start?

U-boat 13 Meter
I'm looking at a 1985 13 Meter International that had fully sunk. It was raised within 36 hours. It would be a complete restoration project but my concern is with the hull, Was it compromised? I believe it's a cored hull so what level of water intrusion could have happened. Just looking for some tho...
