Onan help

The end of last season my generator did not start. Has not started this year either. Does not seem to "catch"- so that leads me to fuel. Any ideas what to look at? I have not gotten the model number- but it came with the 1971 seavoyager. If you can send a picture it would help- I have not ...

We are on Cayuga Lake and were pulled earlier this week. Primarily due to BIG concern about Hydrilla infestation found and the need to limit boat traffic to prevent spread. Wonder if the state's putting off inlet dredging over the years plays any role? Heard it is really a nasty plant and they say i...

This has been really good info for those of us with similar aged boats thinking about doing the same. Thanks for being so open about what is going on with the boat. It seems that the quote for the rebuild is a "starting point" and that you can count on the hidden things adding to the total...

yes, it looks nice. I was even thinking of doing canvas over the main cabin from the helm windows to the bow flag- and going over the railings on the side. I was thinking I could keep all the hatches and windows open during a rainstorm and get the breezes, not the rain. Might be a bit dark though...

If you have time, can you post another picture of your back curtain and the extension from the cabin roof? I was thinking of doing something like that. It looks nice and I would do same color. It will be interesting to follow your rebuild as I will be doing that too sometime in the future. Post lots...

Shaft Allignment

I was wondering what is the procedure and how difficult it is to check shaft allignment. The boat is out of the water and may be a good time to check it. Not too technical so the simpler the better. Is it something better for the boatyard to check? They will get the $$ anyway- trying to make it stre...

We are from Ithaca on Cayuga Lake. I think there is a 67 seavoyager from Liverpool too.

Would be great to have a mini rendevous next summer around Syracuse!

Hey Rickalan 35

How easy was it to remove the headliner? Can you describe the best way to remove it? I want to run some wire and it doesn't seem intuitively easy to remove if I want to reinstall them.

I don't want to ruin them.

thanks.

Not hard to replace. Get numbers off the old one and West Marine has sale on macerators. On mine I can pull the plug on the back off and there is a straight slot screwdriver hole where you can turn the drive. Do you have one? Many times mine gets jammed from the kids and it is able to be freed up. J...

I use the Interlux ACT bottom paint every year. We too have zebra mussels in the finger lakes. Normal use of the boat and a powerwash in the fall is all it takes.

Calling all Woodies

Thought it would be interesting to start a thread of wooden Trojan owners and their boats. I know I have had a few questions on my boat but wasn't sure if there were any other members who had my style boat. This way we could refer back to this thread in the future. Maybe a picture of your boat, year...

Interior ceiling liners

I see alot of posts of interior cabin pictures where it looks like the ceiling liners were replaced. If the budget allows I am thinking of doing this on my '71. I had a couple questions: * how is the fabric attached to the ceiling? Is it wrapped around something and then secured in sections? * do yo...
